Kenyon Woods Physical Education/Health

Basic Information:
7th and 8th Grade Boys Basketball is a Cut sport meaning that tryouts will be held for both levels. AT MOST 15 players will be taken for each grade level.

Pre-Season Informational Meeting: 

Attendance at ONE of the two dates provided is Mandatory for all students who will be participating in tryouts. If you can not attend, then please email your grade level coach ASAP. 

When? BEFORE SCHOOL on Monday, Oct. 2nd OR Tuesday, Oct. 3rd At 8:30am

 

Sports Physical:

A sports physical allows a clinician to identify any conditions that might keep the athlete out of the game or affect performance. Your doctor or chosen medical provider will complete their own Physical form which can then be returned by the student to their respective coach. This form must be submitted to Coach Perdikaris or Hardiman before the student is allowed to try out. 

No Sports Physical on record means no Tryout.

Fees:

To play interscholastic athletics at Kenyon Woods Middle School, there is a participation fee of $80.00 for the season. Students must turn in their participation fee to their coach before the first practice of the season when try-outs have concluded and the teams are finalized. Cash or Check made out to Kenyon Woods Middle School.

Transportation:
Activity buses run every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and leave from Kenyon Woods parking lot promptly at 5pm. If your student is taking the activity bus, please assure that they are aware of their bus stop and activity bus route number. All student athletes must have their parent/ guardian pick them up at 5:00pm.
